Planning Your Wedding Day

It is extremely important to allow enough time between the ceremony and the reception to enable your photographer to set up really special portraits of the two of you.  This is your day and your wedding photography will be much more relaxed and memorable if you space things out and enjoy a relaxed photo shoot without having to worry about your reception starting without you.

Too often the ceremony and reception are set to close together to allow adequate time to get all the photographs you really want.  The ideal schedule, however not necessary, is to allow a few hours between the ceremony and reception – especially if they are at two different locations. Traffic patterns between Orlando, Florida weddings and receptions should be a concern.  The alternative to this would be to allow time before the ceremony, to take the formal pictures (while flowers and makeup are fresh) however, some think it is bad luck for the groom to see the bride before the wedding. With enough time allotted single shots of the Bride or Groom can be taken before the ceremony with group shots after the ceremony. In some cases, some special shots can be taken days before the Wedding if needed.
